Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall in Rockwall, Texas, opened in December 2007 to meet the demands of a rapidly growing community. Situated on 33 acres, the 50-bed hospital features an array of inpatient services, including intermediate, medical/surgical and intensive care services. Primary clinical services to meet a diverse population range from cardiology to emergency, general and neuro-surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, oncology, orthopedics, women’s services and more.
Texas Health Partners developed the hospital from concept through feasibility, joint venture structuring, capitalization and facility development to full operations. Some of the technological advances that create efficiencies for Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall include: a 64-slice CT scanner, a 1.5 open-bore MRI, digital radiology, 4-D Ultrasound, BabyMatch™ for infant security, advance online registration for patients, a Digital Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and electronic medical records. Revenue management initiatives and processes implemented from the beginning enable the organization to proactively capture and manage revenue toward financial success. THPR continues to provide management oversight and revenue cycle management services.
